UKT360 is no stranger to unusual requests, yet F&J Exports’ needs were unique.
F&J Exports sells engines, rather than vehicles, but still wanted to be able to show off its parts from every angle.
Fortunately, UKT360 was able to provide an “ideal” solution, according to Jas Johal, international sales manager.
“We required an unusual bespoke solution for photographing and videoing the engines we offer for sale on our website in a more professional, uniform manner. We didn’t want a manual operation but one where we could forklift a palleted engine onto a platform and have it turn, so we could photo from all angles. We made the booth, but we needed a really sleek, compact solution, which would take the weight, too.
“It was a little brainwave following a Google search for turntables where I thought UKT360 could be a good idea. However, it appeared from the website and the current applications shown on driveways and in showrooms, is this out of our budget?
“We looked at a heavy-duty manual pallet turning disc and also a rotating bed welding machine, which we could modify, but they were not great solutions.
“Our buying criteria was heavy-duty, industrial finish, compact, cost-effective, easy to maintain and easy to install on-site without too much hassle. The price and the general look of the UKT360 product was ideal.
“A good team of three came out to install, and there was very little required from us other than a clean, flat, screeded base, which is the minimum you’d expect.
“We’d recommend UKT360 and have done to others over the last 12 months.”
